How to guide your customers to share their screen

Using Skreen is designed to be completely frictionless for your customers. They do not need to install applications, browser extensions, or create accounts.

The Customer Experience

  1. Open Link: The customer clicks the secure `skreen.link/s/...` URL you provided.
  2. Landing Page: They are presented with a branded page displaying your company logo and a prominent "Start sharing" button.
  3. Browser Prompt: Upon clicking the button, their web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) will open a native dialog asking them what they want to share. They can choose:
    • An entire screen (e.g., "Screen 1")
    • A specific application window (e.g., "Microsoft Excel")
    • A specific browser tab
  4. Live Session: Once they select an option and click "Share", the stream is instantly securely routed to your agent dashboard. They will see an indicator in their browser tabs that their screen is currently being shared.

Agent Best Practices

When sending a link, it helps to provide brief context: "Hi there, could you open this link in your browser and click 'Start sharing' so I can see what you're seeing? No download required."
